An Encinitas primary bath, built for salt air

A dated primary bathroom became a light, low-maintenance retreat a few blocks from the beach.

The original fixtures had corroded from the sea air. We used solid brass fittings, porcelain tile and a curbless shower with a linear drain, so there's nothing to rust and very little to clean.

A larger window and a quiet, humidity-sensing fan keep the room bright and dry.

A calm, organized team. The tile work is beautiful. Our tile delivery was late, which added a week, but they kept us informed the whole time.
